Try it — tap the mistake
One word in this P2 sentence is wrong.
The 改錯 exercise, made into a game
Tap to find, choose to fix
A crimson pen circle marks each mistake your child finds. Then they fix it by picking the right word from three choices — just like correcting a worksheet, without the rubber.
Six grades, one ladder
P1–P3 practise single sentences; P4–P6 work through short passages. Grade names follow your school system — Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan or Korea.
Explanations for parents
Every mistake comes with a short explanation in English, Traditional or Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or French — so you can help even if English isn’t your strength.
Stars, a timer bonus and no red crosses
One star for each find and each fix, two more for finishing under par. A wrong tap costs a star and turns the word grey — never red — so mistakes feel like part of the game.
Focus practice on weak spots
Choose the kinds of mistakes to practise, such as tenses or prepositions. Statistics show what your child finds easily and which mistake types need another round.
Offline, no accounts, no ads
Every sentence is built into the app and works without internet. There is no sign-up, no advertising, and your child’s results stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions
What is ProofreadEasy?

Which ages and grades is it for?
Primary 1 to Primary 6, roughly ages 6 to 12. P1–P3 play single sentences and P4–P6 play short passages. You can show grade names for Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea or a general Grade 1–6.
What kinds of mistakes does it practise?
Eleven types: spelling, capitals and full stops, punctuation, a / an / the, plurals, verb agreement, tenses, prepositions, pronouns, comparing, and word choice — 45 rules in all, introduced grade by grade.
My English isn’t strong. Can I still help my child?
Yes. The app shows which word is wrong and why, with a short explanation for parents in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or French. The corrected sentence can also be read aloud.
Does it need the internet or an account?
No. All sentences are built into the app, so it works offline. There is no account, no sign-up and no advertising, and progress is stored only on your device.
What is free and what is Premium?
Free: the first 2 topics at every grade, 2 Mixed rounds per grade each month, the Fix step, parent explanations and Statistics. Premium (weekly, 6-month or annual subscription) unlocks every topic, unlimited Mixed rounds and Focus practice.
